How do we digitize house floor plans?
1. Customer source materials
The client sent us drawings of three floors in different formats:
Basement – an old drawing with some corrections made in pen.
First floor – more seriously remodeled, where the client had marked the changes with colored pencils : a new solution for the sauna hall, addition of a utility room, removal of walls, open kitchen, and bathroom renovation.
Attic floor – Changes specified in the Paint program that had to be correctly applied to the drawings.
2. Digitalization process
📌 We collected all the materials sent and interpreted all the changes accurately.
📌 We brought the floor plans to an accurate scale , removing possible errors and inaccuracies.
📌 Drawings were digitized into AutoCAD DWG format and exported as high-quality PDF output .
📌 We added technical details and footnotes that contain important information, such as the object's address, date, and drawing type.
